  I am impressed with how Rachel dealt with me throughout my move recently. When I advised her of any issues I had, she was prompt in following it up for me. I was a little disappointed that the movers were 4 hours late but I understood once Rachel told me. My only recommendation would have been to call and sms immediately in advance if the movers will be late.

  If you are moving interstate DO NOT use this company. I researched several companies and found this one the friendliest- well until they took my deposit. After that all communication and service went down hill. Our furniture took 4 days to arrive and we had a 2 year old and 4 month old baby sleeping on the floor with us in the middle of winter. So many lies and promises were told. The men that packed and unpacked our furniture were NOT in any way professional and as a result a lot of furniture Was badly damaged. As a result of the huge inconvenience, Chris the owner promised gifts for us which we never received. I would not want anyone to have to deal with the stress that what we went through. Moving companies should take the stress out of moving not create it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

  I moved house recently in Canberra and used Moving Mates to assist me with this move. I dealt with Rachel in the office who was more than accommodating to my needs and changes, Rachel was professional and lovely. On the morning of my move I met two very lovely guys called Adam and Matty. The two of them were very professional, reliable, treated my belongings with respect, friendly, polite and efficient. They made my move enjoyable. I would have no hesitation in recommending Moving Mates to anyone.

  We recently used Moving Mates to move to Melbourne. From the first phone call with Chris I found him to be very helpful and professional. I wasn't overly confident in my estimation of what I needed to move (ended up being twice as much) but when they turned up they were accommodating and able to pack all my stuff. Chris was easy to get a hold of and if he didn't answer straight away, he always got back to me promptly. The removalists themselves did a good job and looked after all our stuff. Only real concern was around pick up and drop off timing. I needed an hour notice from the drivers before they arrived and they only gave me 30mins. With that said they were happy to wait until I was able to get there so this was not really a problem in the end for me, probably just an improvement to be taken on board by the company. Overall the process went smoothly and the price I ended up paying was well and truly reasonable. I would recommend them to others.

  Aside from that, they did a timely job and were very helpful. I'm grateful to them as well as Rachel for agreeing to some last minute changes which included disposing junk at the tip along with moving my brother's gear to Lyneham.
